Warriors team owner Joe Lacob was ripped and booed by the crowd during the ceremony of the retirement of Chris Mullin's jersey on Monday:

It was clear Lacob was tense before even taking the microphone, he knew that the crowd would let him know they were not happy about his decision to trade their favorite and most loyal player Monta Ellis. The Warriors drafted Ellis out of high school in 2005 and he had played there his whole career before brutally getting traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.

It's unfortunate that Chris Mullin's ceremony was ruined by the crowd's boos but he was gentle enough to give Lacob a hand to help him finish his speech. Thinking of the Monta Ellis trade, it came as a suprise for most, and the worse part about him leaving the Warriors is that they did not bring great talent in return. They basically gave up on him.

Monta Ellis is one of those guys that has the ability to delight crowds with great acrobatic moves, he had many of them in 7 years with the Warriors. The NBA is a game of stars and except for Stephen Curry, who has been hurt all season and was also subject to trade rumors, the Warriors don't have any today. As a matter of fact, if anyone, Curry was the warrior that people might have expected to get traded.

Watching Golden State play is not as exciting as it was days ago before Ellis' departure and if I was a Warriors' fan, I would be upset too.
