Tiger Woods Wins First PGA Tour Since 2009

Tiger Woods won his first PGA tour since 2009 on Sunday...

Tiger Woods won the Bay Hill Invitational today easily by five shots over Graham Mcdowell for his first PGA win in almost three years.  He looked a lot more like the player who dominated the tour for years than the one struggling with swing changes and a shaky putter as he played fantastic almost the entire day.  The putts that hadn't been dropping lately were falling as he made several momentum saving pars throughout the round.
The rest of the season should be exciting though now with Rory Mckilroy and Tiger in such good form.  However, its tough to see even Rory competing with Tiger at his best as he used to routinely win tournaments by five or more shots.  Especially with the way Tiger tends to put together huge streaks of wins it would be easy to see him reeling off a superb season.
This is a huge win for Tiger right before the Masters and he has a ton of confidence going in.  You have to think he is the favourite now after his performance this week and his track record at Augusta.  Even in the last two years with his game in shambles and all the turmoil from his personal life he finished fourth and put a scare into the winners, so with a game clearly in top form he should add a fifth green jacket to his collection.
So many people had written off Tiger after the last couple years, seemingly forgetting that he had gone through swing changes twice in his career before and come back better than ever.  I am looking forward to seeing him make a lot of people eat their words in the coming seasons and as long as Tiger can stay healthy I'm predicting a dominate season from the former #1.  The Masters can't come soon enough.
