Shaq's mistress Vanessa Lopez is taking him to trial for allegedly causing her emotional distress and assaulting her:

A trial date is set to be scheduled in a lawsuit that was filed against Shaquille O'Neal by his former mistress, Vanessa Lopez, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Lopez filed the lawsuit against O'Neal in Orange County, Florida, for intentional infliction of emotional distress and assault. Lopez says Shaq started harassing her shortly after she told him she thought she was pregnant.
 
Shaq has a lot of money, Lopez will have her shot at becoming rich. Not sure if this whole thing really happened, but what I do know is that it isn't the first time that a wealthy athlete gets sent to trial, by a woman they probably ditched like old trash. This initiative sometimes works, other times it doesn't. My guess is that Shaq will have the better lawyers in this case.
