The Boston Celtics' point guard Rajon Rondo thinks that his team will win the title this season: 

Rajon Rondo told the Chinese publication The Standard that he expects the Celtics to win it all this year (via Hoopshype):

“I think because we have a talented group of guys… the additions of Courtney Lee, [Jason] Terry and Jeff Green,” Rondo said.

“We have high expectations every year… I think we got a lot better than last year.” 

I understand that the Celtics always have high expectations, but I can't picture them beating beatiung the Lakers, or the Heat. The Celtics belong to the great NBA teams, but the Heat have an edge age wise, since two their top players (LeBron, Bosh) are in their prime. The Celtics only have Rondo in his prime at this point, it's getting harder every year for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to show up every night. The Lakers have several older greatplayers (Kobe, Nash), but also superstar caliber players like Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol in the paint.
