The Detroit Pistons have traded Ben Gordon and a first-round pick to the Charlotte Bobcats for Corey Maggette.

Gordon is set to make over $25 million in the next two years, and i honestly don't see how this is a good move by the Bobcats. Gordon is certainly a prolific scorer, but his is small for his position, and hasn't been consistent for the past 2 years. The Bobcats' most talented perimeter players are all all undersized, except for Gerald Henderson, who is somewhat short at 6'4, but makes up with his outstanding athleticism.

I thought the ideal for the Bobcats was a veteran scoring small-forward, who they would use on the perimeter, and on the post. Yet again, those are usually pretty special players that are not easy to get.

I don't know what Michael Jordan is telling his people but whatever it is, it better work out this time.
