Undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather's career has reportedly been in jeopardy since he entered prison, according to CBSSports.com

A judge in Las Vegas says she'll decide by Thursday whether to ease jail conditions for Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa made no immediate ruling Tuesday after Mayweather lawyers argued that the undefeated champion boxer's health is declining and he may never fight again if he's not released.

Mayweather began a three-month jail sentence June 1 for attacking his ex-girlfriend while two of their children watched.

His lawyers are asking the judge to let him serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest.

They filed an emergency motion Monday saying Mayweather's health is deteriorating because he's confined to his cell 23 hours a day and can't exercise.

Police say jailers are keeping Mayweather out of the general inmate population because he's a celebrity.

According to Mayweather's attorneys, the jail's "conduct may cause, not just huge financial harm to Mr. Mayweather, but also huge emotional harm if he is no longer able to pursue his boxing career because of the deconditioning he has suffered."

Those really sound like great reasons for Mayweather to get special treatment, and get to a place where he could train and eat appropriately...
