Oaklahoma City  star Kevin Durant revealed that he cried a lot after losing in the NBA Finals to the Miami Heat:

"I wanted to win as bad as anything in the world. I cried about it every day," said Durant, who added that the mourning lasted about a week, a little less than the time it took to physically recover from the NBA grind.

Asked which would mean more to him, the NBA Finals or the Olympics, Durant said, "Winning a gold medal would mean more because we lost in the Finals. ... To be labeled as the best team in the world would be a great feeling."
 
The gold medal would be indeed, a great consolation price for Durant and his Thunder teammates James Harden and Russell Westbrook. After seeing what they did to France, Team USA is well on its way to accomplish their goal.
