Jason Kidd has decided to leave the Dallas Mavericks to join the New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony, according to ESPN's Mark Stein:

Here is a point guard that can help the Knicks. Kidd is as experienced as anyone in the league, and can still play, although he one of the oldest players in the NBA. I just hope the Knicks didn't sign him hoping he would bring in scoring, because Kidd has not shot over 37% for the past 2 seasons. He has had bad shooting percentages throughout his NBA career, but it has gotten WORSE. He can still run a team like the best of them, and hit those clutch 3-pointers he is known for. So definitely a good move by the Knicks.
