Hornets point guard Jarrett Jack tweeted Saturday that he believes Ray "Jesus Shuttelsworth" Allen is a traitor for leaving the Boston Celtics to join their rivals, the Miami Heat:

@JarrettJack03: Am I wrong for thinking ray allen is a traitor for signing with his rival team the heat? Tell me what u think!!!!!!

There are other things Jarrett Jack should worry about, besides where or why Ray Allen took his talents to South Beach. Austin Rivers is coming to New Orleans to take his spot, that's something to think about.

Ray Allen is looking to get another ring, he tried with the Celtics and realized that the Heat was just the better team. Not having the best of relationships with the best player on the Celtics, Rajon Rondo, probably had a lot to do with him signing with the Heat. Remember that Ray Ray was on the trading block last season. Teams do what they need to be happy, and so do the players. The Celtics did sign Jason Terry after all, and they had likely been trying to get him for a while.

There should be no loyalty shown from players to teams, because teams are not loyal to their players either. Well, there are a few exceptions (Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan).

I agree with Jack from the POV Ray Allen going to a hated nemesis at this point. Not necessarily calling him out for leaving, but for the team he went to and the hated rivalry it has become.
