A close source to Dwight Howard said that Magic center could possibly sit out the entire 2012-13 season in Orlando, according to the Huffington Post's Jordan Schultz. Schultz tweeted Monday:
A source close to Dwight Howard tells me that Dwight is fully prepared to sit out the entire 2012-13 season in Orlando.

This would be the biggest bummer ever. What a great way to turn off all the teams that were interested in him. We've talked about this Howard trade for a year, maybe a little more, and nonstop. Now we hear that he may not even play at all next season. It means that his back injury is more serious than most of us expected. Well, either that, or just doesn't want to play. Anyway, while we speak on the Howard trade everyday, he could be at home wondering if he is even going to be able to step on an NBA court next season.
